A minor dispute in the Crusher Basti area under the Anantpura police station limits in Kota took a fatal turn when a 48-year-old man lost his life following a confrontation over money for alcohol. According to the details, a young man named Jitu allegedly demanded 100 rupees from 48-year-old Ramcharan to purchase alcohol. When Ramcharan flatly refused to fulfill the demand and hand over the money, the accused lost his temper and gave him a forceful push, causing him to crash onto a nearby cot.
Head Impact Against the Cot Corner
The sudden push caused Ramcharan to lose his balance completely and stumble onto the cot. During the fall, his head struck the hard corner of the cot with severe impact, resulting in critical injuries. As his condition began to deteriorate rapidly in the aftermath of the incident, family members rushed him to the New Medical College Hospital for urgent medical attention, where he was admitted under the supervision of attending doctors.
Death During Hospital Treatment
Ramcharan remained under medical care at the hospital for his injuries, but despite the ongoing treatment, his condition worsened and he eventually passed away. According to Anantpura police station ASI Rajendra Singh, an initial case of a murderous assault was registered on October 16 based on a formal complaint lodged by Ramcharan's family members while he was still struggling for life in the hospital. However, following his death during treatment, investigators formally added murder charges to the existing police case.
