A severe road accident occurred late Sunday night in the Laxmangarh area of Alwar district. A car traveling at high speed suddenly lost control near the Gopalpura turn, flipping multiple times before coming to a stop in an adjacent field. The impact of the crash was so severe that the vehicle was completely wrecked. Neeraj Puniya, who was seated in the front passenger seat, died on the spot. Two other occupants of the vehicle, Lokesh Puniya and Sachin Sadawat, sustained critical injuries. Local residents alerted the authorities and assisted in the rescue operation, pulling the victims from the damaged car.
Hospitalization and Treatment
Upon receiving the information, police arrived at the scene and immediately transported the injured individuals to the Community Health Center in Laxmangarh. Following initial medical stabilization, Sachin Sadawat’s condition was deemed critical, leading to his transfer to the district hospital in Alwar, where he remains under care. Lokesh Puniya also received preliminary treatment at the community center and remains under strict medical supervision due to his serious condition.
Cause of the Accident
Initial findings indicate that the three young men were returning home from Neeraj Puniya's in-laws' residence late at night. Near the Gopalpura turn, the high speed caused the driver to lose control of the steering, resulting in the car veering off the road and tumbling into the field. It is believed that the excessive speed made it impossible for the driver to maintain control of the vehicle. The police have secured the site and have moved the deceased's body to the mortuary at the Community Health Center. An official case has been registered, and a thorough investigation into the circumstances of the crash is underway, with high speed currently identified as the primary factor in the tragedy.
