Makrana Municipality, located within the Didwana-Kuchaman district of Rajasthan, comprises a total of 60 wards. A total of 555 nominations were initially submitted for these 60 wards. Following the official review and process, 115 nomination papers were rejected, 47 nominations were dismissed, and 109 candidates withdrew their candidacies. Consequently, a final pool of 284 contestants remained in the political fray across all wards. None of the candidates across the 60 wards were elected unopposed.
To facilitate smooth voting, election authorities established 93 polling booths in total. All 93 polling stations catered to electorates of up to 1,400 voters, with zero polling stations designated for voter counts exceeding 1,400.
