According to official data from the election commission, all 20 polling booths were categorized as facilities accommodating up to 1,400 registered voters, while zero polling booths catered to voter populations exceeding 1,400.
Nomination Breakdown and Candidate Contests
Electoral participation in Suroth was highly competitive across all 20 wards. A total of 261 nomination papers were initially submitted by aspiring candidates. Following the scrutiny process, election officials rejected 66 nominations and invalidated or dismissed 15 others. Furthermore, 24 candidates chose to withdraw their candidacies before the official deadline. This left 156 candidates in the final election contest. Notably, no candidate in any of the 20 wards was elected unopposed, ensuring active multi-cornered contests throughout the municipality.
