A highly unusual domestic conflict has come to light in the Churu district of Rajasthan, leaving police personnel thoroughly astonished. While police stations are accustomed to handling standard reports of theft, physical violence, or land disputes, the staff at the Kotwali Police Station recently encountered a man seeking protection from his sister and her pet monkey. This strange incident has unfolded in Shiv Colony, located in Ward Number One of the city, where a family feud over a captive animal has rapidly escalated.
Accusations of Inciting the Animal and Issuing Death Threats
The complainant, identified as 32-year-old Dilip Saini of Shiv Colony, submitted a formal petition at the Kotwali Police Station to address his grievances. In his complaint, Saini leveled serious allegations against his elder sister, stating that she keeps a pet monkey inside their shared home and regularly allows it to roam free. He claimed that the monkey has grown increasingly aggressive and that his sister actively incites the animal to attack other family members. According to Saini, his sister frequently initiates conflicts without any provocation, engages in physical assault, and has issued death threats to the family. Due to the monkey's unrestricted movement and its violent behavior, the entire household is living under a constant state of terror.
Intervention by the Police Kalika Team and Forest Department
Following the receipt of the peculiar complaint, the Kotwali Police Station administration initiated prompt action. They dispatched the specialized women's patrolling squad, known as the Kalika team, to the complainant's residence in Shiv Colony. Kalika team members Kaushalya and Poonam interacted with the sister to counsel her and resolve the tension within the household. To ensure the animal's safe relocation, the police department has officially notified the forest department so that appropriate measures can be executed in accordance with wild animal regulations. The police have assured the family that they are working in coordination with the relevant administrative departments to resolve the issue at the earliest.

Interestingly, this is not the first time that the Kotwali Police Station has received such offbeat complaints. The local police have historically had to deal with several unconventional situations brought in by worried citizens.
