The holy month of Sawan holds deep religious significance for the worship of Lord Shiva and the ritual of offering sacred water. Upholding this traditional faith, a grand Kawad Yatra was organized in Ajmer heading toward the historical Maratha era Jharneshwar Mahadev Temple. Devotees collected holy water from the revered Pushkar Sarovar and traversed through the Pushkar Valley pass to enter Ajmer city. Throughout the journey, local residents gathered along the route to welcome the pilgrims and encourage their spiritual procession.

Legend holds that the great Rajput Emperor Prithviraj Chauhan frequently visited this serene and secluded hillside during his reign. The emperor would offer prayers and engage in deep meditation dedicated to Lord Shiva at this site. Perched on the hill, the Jharneshwar Mahadev Temple continues to draw numerous devotees who seek solace and express their devotion.
