The blue city of Jodhpur is witnessing a remarkable journey of dedication, hard value, and mutual encouragement through the inspiring achievements of two sisters. Studying at DPS School, the elder sister Shivanjana is making steady strides in swimming with her impressive speed, while the younger sister Manushri is establishing her strength and confidence in karate and self-defense. Although their chosen sports are entirely different, their ultimate destination remains the same, which is to elevate the name of their family and Jodhpur on major national and international platforms. The strong foundation of family values and constant encouragement plays a massive role behind the success of both sisters.
Elder Sister Dominates the Swimming Pool
The elder daughter, Shivanjana, has carved out her distinct identity through swimming. She has accumulated a total of 32 medals so far, demonstrating phenomenal performances in various state-level competitions. Currently, her rigorous preparation is underway for national-level championships. Shivanjana's aspirations extend far beyond winning medals. She aims to represent India at the Olympic and international levels to bring glory to the country. Her philosophy emphasizes that instead of comparing oneself with others, an athlete should stay completely focused on personal performance and set goals.
Younger Sister Wins Gold in Delhi After Learning Karate
Inspired by her elder sister, Manushri took up karate and transformed it from a mere sport into an effective medium for self-defense. Through relentless hard work, she has bagged 15 medals to date. Exhibiting a stellar performance at a national competition held in Delhi last week, Manushri clinched the gold medal. Her ambition now is to represent India on the international stage. Manushri believes that learning self-defense is extremely essential for girls because parents cannot accompany them everywhere. This empowering mindset continuously motivates her to push her limits and perform better.
Family Values Fueling High Dreams
Though respected senior social workers of Jodhpur, late Dharmaram चौधरी and late Pukhraj चौधरी are no longer in this world, their core values and spirit of community service remain deeply visible within the family. Their daughter-in-law Monika चौधरी actively contributes to the field of social work, while both daughters are carrying forward the family legacy through their extraordinary achievements. The most remarkable aspect is that the bond between the two sisters is rooted in mutual support rather than rivalry, where one is making her mark through speed in water while the other displays raw power through karate. Their dreams are vast, and the family holds firm faith that their disciplined upbringing and hard work will eventually take them to the global arena.
