By outperforming an athlete from Bikaner, she secured this prestigious medal across three distinct events: the 60-meter race, the long jump, and the ball throw. Overcoming a Lack of Local Facilities
With neither a proper sports ground nor an athletics coach available in her native village, Harlin refused to let these harsh circumstances become a roadblock in her journey. Watching her elder sister win medals in sports ignited a deep-seated dream within her to achieve similar accolades. To turn this aspiration into reality, she completely restructured her daily routine. Roughly two years ago, Harlin resolved to make her mark in athletics, making the bold choice to study at home independently rather than attending school on a regular basis.
Intensive Training Sessions in Jaipur
She began her academic studies at home while simultaneously dedicating herself to rigorous sports training. When she could not find a coach or a training ground in her village, she left home to reside in Jaipur. For any regular student attending school, making such a monumental decision is never easy. Upon moving to Jaipur, Harlin intensified her training regimen even further. She began practicing rigorously for approximately three hours each in the morning and the evening.
Securing Gold at the State Level
Through six hours of daily hard work and relentless practice, Harlin's self-belief steadily grew. The biggest payoff from her relentless toil materialized at the Rajasthan State Junior Athletics Competition. Held in Ajmer, the tournament served as the stage where Harlin put on a stellar performance in the triathlon event to claim the gold medal. Leaving the Bikaner athlete behind, she showcased her prowess in the 60-meter run, long jump, and ball throw. This marks Harlin's first gold medal at the state level, and her sights are now firmly set on national tournaments.
Inspiration From Her Elder Sister
A major catalyst behind the start of Harlin's sporting journey was the achievement of her elder sister, Navya. Navya is a former karate champion who has previously won a gold medal at the national level. Witnessing her sister receive honors alongside her medals inspired Harlin to resolve that she would bring glory to her family and the state of Rajasthan through the sports arena. The Crucial Support of Family and Mother
The role played by her mother, Mamata, in Harlin's remarkable success has been equally vital. Mamata accompanies her daughter to every single competition, offering continuous encouragement from practice sessions to the final event. Harlin possessed a keen interest in sports from a very young age. She would frequently ask her mother why she couldn't bring home medals for the country when her elder sister could. Seeing this unwavering dream reflected in her daughter's eyes, the mother decided to back her at every step.

Hailing from a farming family, Harlin's relatives never allowed financial constraints to stand in the way of her dreams. Her uncles, Advocate Trilok Singh and Nirmal Jakhar, also provided total support for her athletic pursuits. Mother Mamata shares that she feels immensely proud of both her daughters. Her second daughter has also triumphed with a national gold medal and is currently undergoing advanced preparation in Bikaner. Today, these daughters have become the most prominent identity of the family.

Having bagged her maiden gold medal at the state level, Harlin's focus has now shifted toward national-level competitions. Her ultimate dream is to win medals at the national and international levels to elevate Rajasthan's pride.
