Motorola is preparing to expand its device portfolio in India with the official release of its upcoming tablet, the Moto Pad 70. Scheduled to make its debut on August 9, this new tablet aims to cater to students, professionals, and entertainment enthusiasts alike. The device will be available for purchase on Flipkart after its launch, though its official pricing details remain under wraps for now.
A High Quality Visual Experience
The Moto Pad 70 features a large 12.1-inch display with a 2.5K resolution. This screen is engineered to deliver crisp visuals, whether you are streaming high definition videos or working on complex documents. With a peak brightness of 800 nits, the display remains highly legible even under bright outdoor sunlight. Furthermore, it supports 96% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, ensuring that colors appear rich, vivid, and true to life.
Seamless Productivity with the Moto Pen
To enhance utility, the company is including the Moto Pen directly in the retail box, eliminating the need for an additional purchase. This stylus is equipped with advanced features such as 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity, tilt detection, and palm rejection technology. These capabilities make it an ideal tool for digital artists, note-takers, and students who prefer handwriting their thoughts. To complement this hardware, the tablet comes preloaded with several AI features designed to simplify writing, studying, and everyday productivity tasks.
Robust Performance and All-Day Battery Life
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor. This chipset is optimized for fluid multitasking, smooth daily operations, and casual gaming. Keeping the device running is a massive 10,200mAh battery, designed to provide long-lasting backup. Users can quickly replenish this huge battery thanks to the 68W TurboPower fast charging support.
Sleek Design and Immersive Audio
Despite housing a colossal battery, the Moto Pad 70 boasts an incredibly slim profile of just 6.29mm and weighs a manageable 530 grams, making it highly portable. For audio, the tablet is equipped with a quad-speaker system enhanced by Dolby Atmos, ensuring an immersive audio experience for movies and music. Users can also boost productivity by magnetically connecting the Moto Folio Keyboard, which is supported by the device. File sharing and cross-device integration are managed seamlessly via the Smart Connect feature.
Long-Term Software Support
In terms of software longevity, the tablet will run Android 16 right out of the box. Motorola has committed to providing major operating system upgrades up to Android 18. Additionally, the company will deliver security updates until the year 2030, ensuring the device remains safe and up to date for several years.
