While certain models stunned spectators with record-breaking athletic feats, others provided plenty of amusement through their clumsy missteps.
The most talked-about highlight of the competition was a robot that claimed to shatter the 100-meter record held by legendary sprinter Usain Bolt. Continuing the momentum on Sunday, a machine from the same model series delivered an impressive run in the 400-meter race. It completed the distance in 38.16 seconds, a time that was later officially adjusted to 38.15 seconds. This remarkable performance meant the robot beat the previous benchmark by approximately five seconds.
The running style of this machine on the track was as peculiar as it was fascinating. As it sprinted, it pumped its arms aggressively and leaned its upper body unusually far forward. On multiple occasions, it appeared as though the robot was on the verge of taking a fall, yet despite the heavy wobbling, it somehow managed to maintain its balance and cross the finish line.
Not every machine enjoyed a smooth outing, however, as several robots struggled right from the starting line. Some failed to initiate a run altogether, opting instead for a brisk walk across the track, while others collapsed to the ground at the very first signal. This chaotic spectacle turned into pure entertainment for the audience, especially families with children. Laughter echoed through the stands when a robot roughly the size of a small child kicked a football so hard that it flew straight over the knee-high barricade surrounding the field.
The boxing ring offered an equally entertaining spectacle for the onlookers. During a bout, a humanoid robot lost its footing, stumbled all the way to the edge of the ring, and slumped helplessly against the ropes like a knocked-out fighter. Ultimately, humans had to step inside the ring and physically carry the machine outside. The crowd thoroughly enjoyed these comical falls and stumbles, cheering heartily throughout.
While observers found the robotic displays engaging, many pointed out that the true test for these machines will come when they face human competitors. At present, these robots are merely demonstrating their speed in races and structured competitions, which does not provide a complete measure of their cognitive abilities.

One attendee noted that she personally relies on help for household cleaning and cooking, expressing a desire for future robots to take over such daily responsibilities.
