A devastating road collision claimed the life of 50-year-old senior neurosurgeon Dr Kasakurthi Jagadish in the Suryapet district of Telangana on Sunday morning. The tragedy unfolded while Dr Jagadish was travelling from Khammam to Hyderabad inside his Volvo car. As the vehicle reached the Pillalamarri stretch, it abruptly swerved from the fast lane toward the left side of the carriageway and smashed into the outer divider. Within moments of the violent impact, intense flames engulfed the vehicle, giving the driver no chance to escape before emergency teams arrived.

The fatal accident took place at approximately 7:15 AM along the Suryapet-Khammam highway in the vicinity of Pillalamarri. The deceased was identified as Dr Kasakurthi Jagadish, who served as a neurosurgeon at Mamata Hospital located in Khammam. According to officials, he had begun his journey early on Sunday to visit family members residing in Hyderabad, but his routine weekend trip came to a catastrophic end mid-way on the highway corridor.
