A tragic highway crash occurred in Suryapet district of Telangana during the early hours of Wednesday, resulting in the death of six people and leaving 20 passengers severely injured. The accident took place when a private travel bus carrying 42 commuters collided into a stationary container lorry parked on the road shoulder.

The severe impact occurred near the outskirts of Dorakunta area under Kodad mandal. Among the six fatalities recorded at the scene, five were female passengers and one was male. According to initial details, the private coach was en route from Hyderabad to Eluru in Andhra Pradesh when it smashed directly into the back of the heavy container truck. The force of the collision completely crushed the entire front section of the bus, trapping several commuters inside the mangled framework.
Upon receiving immediate alerts about the collision, local police personnel rushed to the scene to initiate emergency rescue operations. First responders cleared the wreckage to rescue individuals trapped within the damaged vehicle and transported all 20 injured victims to nearby medical facilities for urgent care. Police authorities have registered an official case and launched a thorough investigation to determine the exact circumstances and primary cause behind the crash.
