Television actors Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya are celebrating a deeply meaningful Ganesh Chaturthi this year, marking their first major festival after stepping into parenthood with the arrival of twin baby boys. With two new members entering their family, the festive spirit inside their home has taken on a profoundly personal and gentle tone, reflecting a joyous and transformative period in their lives.
A Child-Centric Blue Decor Designed for Simplicity
Rather than arranging an elaborate or extravagant public spectacle, the couple structured their entire festive arrangement around the comfort and innocence of their infant sons. The decorations featured a soft blue color scheme complemented by elements such as pearls, toy rabbits, and decorative mushrooms. Explaining the concept behind the arrangement, the focus remained strictly on maintaining a peaceful and charming environment where the newborn babies could comfortably receive Lord Ganesha's blessings without being overwhelmed by chaotic festivities.
Multitasking Demands Accelerate Daily Routine
Stepping into motherhood has fundamentally accelerated Divyanka's day-to-day coordination. Reflecting on the mental shift, she noted that while her mind previously operated at a speed of 60, managing the household and the infants now pushes it to function at a rapid pace of 160. Her schedule involves balancing the strict comfort needs of two delicate infants, attending to visiting guests, and ensuring every ceremonial requirement of the festival is fulfilled seamlessly. While the responsibilities demand significantly more physical effort and continuous alertness, both she and Vivek are thoroughly enjoying every moment of this demanding phase.
Opting for Home-Cooked Meals and Family Warmth Over Grand Parties
The couple consciously avoided organizing lavish parties or managing burdensome social gatherings, steering their focus entirely toward celebrating peacefully within the immediate family circle. Demonstrating a hands-on approach to tradition, Divyanka prepared the festive modaks at home herself. Traditional daily staples, including regular lentils, vegetables, and flatbreads, were cooked entirely in their domestic kitchen rather than ordered from external caterers, preserving an authentic and calm festive atmosphere.
Shift in Priorities and Constant Parental Vigilance
The arrival of the twins has reshaped the couple's overall lifestyle and personal priorities. Divyanka observed that their focus remains perpetually trained on the welfare of the two newborns. Because the infants are still extremely delicate, both parents find themselves checking on them repeatedly throughout the night to verify that they are sleeping safely and comfortably. The days of self-centered routines have given way to constant care and nurturing for the two newest additions to their household.
