Local residents alleged that the intense noise emanating from the high-decibel sound systems in the procession triggered her sudden collapse. School instructors rushed the child to a local medical facility immediately after she fell unconscious, where attending doctors pronounced her dead on arrival. Student Identified as Class 2 Pupil Vaishnavi
According to information released by the police, the deceased minor has been identified as Vaishnavi, a student studying in class two at a local private school in Balrampur. As regular classroom activities were underway, a procession for the immersion of Lord Ganesh idols was moving along the adjacent road. Local residents claimed that the extreme volume of the music system played during the procession caused severe physical distress to the young child, causing her to fall unconscious directly from her seat. Teachers immediately intervened and transported her to the hospital without delay, but medical professionals confirmed that she could not be revived.

He stated that in light of this unfortunate development, all stakeholders unanimously resolved that high-volume music systems will not be permitted in any upcoming celebrations. A joint delegation comprising civic body members and social organizations scheduled a meeting with the District Magistrate on Wednesday to request a strict, administrative prohibition across the entire municipal jurisdiction.
