Official Parking Tariff Released
Travelers planning to use the Noida International Airport can now view the official parking fee structure. The airport administration has formally announced the pricing schedule for various vehicle categories. According to the approved rates, parking a private vehicle for up to 24 hours will cost a maximum of Rs 600. For commercial vehicles, the maximum daily parking charge has been set at Rs 700. Additionally, the airport will offer a complimentary curbside drop-off and pick-up window of up to 8 minutes to facilitate quick passenger movement.
Detailed Hour-by-Hour Charges
To avoid incurring any fees, vehicles using the curbside area must exit the terminal zone within the designated 8-minute limit. If a vehicle exceeds this free window, standard parking rates will apply. For the first two hours, private car owners will be charged Rs 150, while commercial vehicle operators will have to pay Rs 200. Beyond this initial two-hour period, an additional tariff of Rs 100 will be levied for every extra hour of parking.
Dedicated Zones and Comparison with Delhi Airport
As reported by TrendKia, authorities have clarified that the curbside facility is entirely separate from the designated parking zones. Drivers parking their vehicles in the actual parking areas will need to purchase tickets as per the approved rate card. To streamline traffic, dedicated parking zones have been established for different categories, including visitors, app-based cab aggregators, and premium taxi services.
The parking fees introduced at the Noida facility closely align with those at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport. At Delhi's IGI Airport, private vehicles are allowed a slightly longer free curbside window of up to 12 minutes at Terminal 3, though Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 do not offer any free curbside access.
Access Restriction for Autos and Buses
Despite these detailed transport arrangements, a significant connectivity gap remains for passengers relying on public transit. Auto-rickshaws and buses will not be permitted to enter directly up to the terminal building. Consequently, passengers arriving via these modes of transport will face challenges in reaching the main entrance directly.
