A major opportunity has emerged for young defense aspirants in northern India, as the Indian Army is set to conduct a massive Agniveer recruitment rally in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. Scheduled to commence on October 5, this recruitment drive will bring together candidates from both Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand who have successfully cleared the initial written assessment. The entire selection process, which includes rigorous physical evaluation and thorough document authentication, will run until October 23 to select the next batch of military personnel for the upcoming training year.
Schedule and Key Dates for Different Posts
To ensure a smooth selection process, the authorities have designated specific dates for different positions and regions. The initial phase, spanning from October 5 to October 12, is dedicated to the Clerk and Store Keeper Technical positions. Candidates qualifying in CEE-2027 from all districts across both Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand are eligible to participate during this period.
Following this, the recruitment drive for Agniveer General Duty (GD) will take place from October 13 to October 19. This category is specifically open to candidates belonging to seven districts of Uttarakhand, namely Uttarkashi, Chamoli, Tehri, Pauri, Rudraprayag, Dehradun, and Haridwar.
On October 20, the rally will focus on Technical and Tradesmen vacancies, targeting individuals who have completed their 8th or 10th-grade education. The final segment of the rally, scheduled from October 21 to October 23, will be dedicated to comprehensive medical examinations for the shortlisted candidates.
Essential Documents Required at the Rally Venue
A crucial part of the selection process involves the verification of academic and personal credentials. Candidates arriving at the Roorkee venue must bring their official admit cards along with essential identification proofs. This includes their Aadhaar card, PAN card, and the active mobile number linked directly to their Aadhaar card.
Additionally, participants must present an online police character certificate and carry 20 recent color passport-sized photographs. All original educational certificates, mark sheets, and support documents corresponding to their applied category must be neatly organized. The recruitment authorities have advised aspirants to double-check their paperwork beforehand and strictly adhere to the specific reporting time and date printed on their admit cards to avoid disqualification.
