Parvez, a local street vendor operating in Nainital, observed that commercial activity picked up sharply over the past few days because of the fair. Parvez added that an early chill in the mountain air has begun to set in, prompting tourists to travel toward the hills and delivering timely economic support to local shopkeepers.

Virendra Pawar, a local boatman operating on Naini Lake, stated that tourist density has spiked noticeably due to the ongoing religious festival. He recalled that boating operations had suffered severely during earlier periods of relentless rainfall, when inclement weather and widespread landslides along hill routes discouraged travellers from venturing into the mountains. With weather conditions stabilizing and roads clearing, tourism traffic has returned to normal levels, making this annual celebration a turning point for local livelihoods.
