A severe road mishap occurred in Uttarakhand's Nainital district when a car carrying visitors from Delhi plunged into a steep ravine near the famous pilgrimage site of Kainchi Dham. The group was traveling to the renowned temple destination to visit the ashram of Neem Karoli Baba when the vehicle veered off the hilly road. The accident claimed the life of one tourist and left three other passengers critically injured, prompting an urgent emergency response from local disaster and rescue teams.

A total of five individuals were traveling inside the vehicle, having made the journey from the national capital to the mountain district of Uttarakhand. While navigating the mountainous stretch leading toward Kainchi Dham, the driver lost control, causing the car to tumble down the hillside into a deep gorge. Local residents and fellow commuters raised the alarm immediately after witnessing the fall, bringing authorities rushing to the scene.
Casualties and Rescue Operations Underway
Among the five occupants in the car, one person succumbed to fatal injuries on the spot, while three others sustained critical wounds.
