Jeevika's New Initiative Targeting Male Job Seekers
Traditionally known for empowering women in Bihar, Jeevika is expanding its reach to address male unemployment in the state. For the first time in the year 2026, the organization is launching a dedicated job camp campaign specifically for male candidates in the Begusarai district. This extensive employment drive will stretch across all 18 blocks of the district, offering various roles such as security guards and supervisors. In this recruitment initiative, Jeevika will act solely as a facilitator and service provider.
Campaign Commencing on July 6
Speaking to TrendKia, Jeevika's Communication Manager Rajiv Kumar and Employment Manager Sudhir Kumar shared details about the upcoming drive. The comprehensive recruitment campaign is scheduled to kick off on July 6 and will run continuously for about 18 to 20 days. Interested male candidates can easily register by visiting their nearest Jeevika Block Project Implementation Unit (BPIU). Once the registration is done, candidates will receive direct communication regarding their interview dates and other crucial details. The organizers aim to secure direct placements for more than 500 young men through this drive.
Required Qualifications, Physical Standards, and Benefits
The recruitment drive offers opportunities for candidates with diverse educational backgrounds. For the role of security guards, the minimum qualification has been set at passing the 8th standard, whereas other specialized positions require a graduation degree. Specific physical and age criteria have also been laid down for the security guard positions:
- Age Bracket: Candidates must be between 18 and 40 years of age.
- Minimum Height: A minimum height of 155 centimeters is mandatory.
- Minimum Weight: Candidates must weigh at least 55 kilograms or more.
Sudhir Kumar, the Employment Manager, highlighted that candidates who clear the interview round will be given direct job offers. In addition to regular salaries, the selected candidates will also benefit from free training sessions, uniforms, regular pay increments, and ESI health benefits.
