The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is preparing a comprehensive roadmap to engage with the younger generation and strengthen its footprint among digital natives. A dedicated workshop focusing on Gen-Z will be organised as part of the RSS Akhil Bharatiya Sammanvay Baithak scheduled to take place in Vishakhapatnam from August 19 to August 21. Top leaders including RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale, alongside representatives from 32 affiliated organisations, will gather to discuss future strategies and improve coordination among various wings of the Sangh family.
Digital Media Strategy for Gen-Z Outreach
Recognising the shifting dynamics of public communication, the meeting in Vishakhapatnam will deliberate heavily on reaching young audiences who are actively engaged on social media and digital platforms. Deliberations will focus on how to effectively communicate the social and organizational activities of the Sangh to today's youth through modern digital tools. Special youth-oriented initiatives are expected to be designed, with specific campaign responsibilities allocated across different affiliated organisations to foster engagement with nation-building activities.
Greater Role for ABVP in Mobilising Youth
The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad is expected to play a central role in driving this youth outreach strategy across educational institutions and social platforms. Plans are underway to formulate targeted campaigns centered around critical issues such as education, employment, de-addiction, youth awareness, and national integration. Recent youth programs conducted in Ranchi, Jharkhand are being viewed as a benchmark for how similar campaigns can be rolled out on a broader national scale.
Deliberations on BJP Organisational Expansion
Organisational matters concerning the Bharatiya Janata Party and key Sangh affiliates will also feature prominently on the meeting agenda. Discussions are expected regarding the long-pending appointments of sangathan mantris in several states and overall organizational expansion. Consultations with BJP President Nitin Naveen will likely focus on strategic responsibility distribution and streamlining organisational machinery across various states.
Strengthening Engagement with the Sikh Community
The coordination meeting will address ways to enhance dialogue and relationship-building with the Sikh community and Sikh organisations. Keeping in view RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat's proposed tour of Canada, specific strategies will be framed to deepen communication and engagement with Sikh groups both domestically and internationally, promoting community harmony and constructive dialogue.
Countering Negative Narratives and Ayodhya Controversies
The leadership is also slated to discuss recent public discussions and controversies surrounding Ayodhya and the broader Sangh family. Strategies will be formulated to counter negative narratives through factual communication and transparent outreach. The meeting aims to emphasize leveraging digital platforms to highlight the extensive social welfare and community work undertaken by the Sangh, ensuring accurate information reaches the public.
