The company has rolled out new 120kW DC fast charging stations across key locations in the national capital. These stations have been deployed in partnership with Statiq to deliver rapid charging convenience to electric vehicle owners. Alongside this hardware expansion, the company has announced a complimentary charging offer for its electric vehicle owners running from September 9 to 11, 2026.
This facility is accessible through the myHyundai app at the company's proprietary public charging stations. The primary objective behind this initiative is to alleviate range anxiety, reduce charging durations, and accelerate the broader adoption of electric mobility. Currently, Hyundai operates 185 DC fast charging stations across 105 cities nationwide and maintains an ambitious target to expand this count to 600 stations by the year 2030.
Capabilities Of The New 120 kW DC Fast Chargers
The newly installed 120 kW DC fast chargers in Delhi possess high power capacities capable of replenishing vehicle batteries in remarkably short timeframes. Developed in collaboration with Statiq, these stations can be accessed via the myHyundai app as well as other major charging management applications. Users can effortlessly obtain real-time station locations, live availability status, and navigation details directly through the app to streamline their journeys.
During the special World EV Day window from September 9 to 11, 2026, eligible vehicle owners can utilize company-owned public charging stations without incurring any charges. To avail of this benefit, booking a charging session via the myHyundai app is mandatory, and the promotional offer remains exclusive to Hyundai electric vehicle owners.
Current Network Standing And Future Expansion Plans
At present, Hyundai's charging ecosystem incorporates DC fast chargers ranging from 60 kW up to 240 kW in capacity. The automaker plans to establish 600 proprietary charging stations across major metropolitan centers, crucial highways, and dealership networks by 2030. Furthermore, integration through the myHyundai app provides access to over 38,000 charging points via various partnered networks across the country.
Hyundai's existing EV lineup features prominent models such as the Ioniq 5 and the Creta Electric. The company is actively preparing to introduce additional localized SUV electric vehicles to the market soon. The installation of these high-speed chargers in Delhi is expected to catalyze the transition toward electric mobility within the National Capital Region, underscoring the brand's firm commitment to sustainable transportation.
