A heavily camouflaged test mule was recently spotted navigating Indian roads, offering unmistakable proof that significant revisions across styling, cabin amenities, and mechanical hardware are currently underway.
Preserved Tall-Boy Profile with Refreshed Exterior Elements
Observations from the camouflaged test vehicle indicate that the upcoming Wagon R will firmly retain its signature tall-boy silhouette and boxy upright architecture. Preserving this structure ensures that passenger ingress, egress, and exceptional cabin headroom remain intact. Nevertheless, several subtle exterior enhancements will refresh its visual appeal. The vehicle is expected to receive a redesigned front grille, re-profiled front and rear bumpers, fresh alloy wheel designs, revised lighting accents, and an expanded palette of exterior color choices. While the heavy disguise concealed specific panel creases, the overall road stance will remain instantly recognizable to hatchback buyers.
Cabin Upgrades Highlighted by a 9-Inch Infotainment Unit
The passenger cabin is poised to receive some of the most substantial revisions in this update. While outright peak horsepower figures may register a slight numerical reduction compared to the outgoing four-cylinder unit, the new Z-Series architecture focuses squarely on heightened thermal efficiency and fuel economy.
