Featuring a comprehensive cosmetic overhaul, enhanced cabin comfort, and a host of modern technology features, the latest iteration aims to cater to both off-road enthusiasts and daily urban drivers. For the first time in India, Toyota has introduced a 4×2 automatic configuration alongside its traditional 4×4 setups, lowering the entry point for city buyers. The vehicle continues to go head-to-head against its primary rival in the country, the Isuzu V-Cross.

Official bookings for the new Hilux commenced on July 28, with customer deliveries scheduled to begin in the second week of August. Toyota has retained the signature double cab body style and the rugged IMV ladder-frame platform, preserving the vehicle's structural durability. The lineup is divided into three distinct trim options. The newly introduced entry-level GX 4×2 automatic variant is priced at Rs 31.99 lakh ex-showroom. For buyers seeking off-road capability, the GX 4×4 variant is available at Rs 33.69 lakh, while the range-topping VX 4×4 automatic model carries a price tag of Rs 36.69 lakh.
Revised Exterior Design and Bold Styling
On the exterior, the new Hilux receives a completely redesigned front fascia that delivers a more aggressive and contemporary road presence. Up front, it sports sleek LED headlamps flanking a prominent honeycomb-patterned grille adorned with bold TOYOTA lettering. A newly sculpted front bumper incorporates a silver skid plate for added underbody protection and visual appeal. Moving to the rear, the truck features revised LED taillamps and fresh alloy wheel designs, while maintaining its tough, muscular stance and high ground clearance profile.

Inside the cabin, the layout has been refreshed with premium materials and metallic accents to deliver a car-like comfort experience. The centerpiece of the dashboard is a large 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system paired with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster for driver telemetry.
