Skoda Auto India officially introduced the refreshed 2026 Skoda Slavia on October 6, 2026, marking the first major overhaul for the mid-size premium sedan since its original arrival in 2022. The updated vehicle enters the market with an introductory ex-showroom price starting at Rs 9.99 lakh, stretching up to Rs 18.84 lakh for the range-topping version. Customer deliveries are scheduled to commence next week. Buyers can choose from six different trim levels: Classic, Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige, and Monte Carlo. Since its initial debut in 2022, the nameplate has recorded around 80,000 unit sales, commanding an estimated 30 percent market share within its segment.
Sharper Exterior Styling And Lighting Upgrades
The mid-cycle update brings noticeable styling refinements to the exterior, giving the sedan a refreshed visual presence. The front fascia now features a redesigned radiator grille flanked by newly engineered all-LED headlamps. These headlamp clusters incorporate segmented daytime running lights alongside sequential turn indicators. A revised front bumper integrates fresh LED fog lamps that come equipped with cornering assistance functionality. Along the sides, the car rides on newly styled 16-inch alloy wheels, while the rear profile showcases restyled tail-lamp assemblies. Expanding the exterior paint palette, two fresh paint shades, Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige, have also been made available for buyers.
High-Tech Cabin Featuring Rear Massage And AI Assistance
Interior appointments have received an extensive upgrade focusing on convenience and technological integration. The dashboard houses a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster alongside a 10.1-inch central touchscreen infotainment display that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Voice interactions are handled through a Google Cloud-based AI companion designed to interpret spoken commands more effectively. In a segment-first addition, the rear seating bench now includes a dedicated massage function for passenger relaxation. Maneuvering in tight quarters is assisted by a newly integrated 360-degree camera setup. On the structural safety front, the sedan maintains its five-star adult and child protection score in Global NCAP crash testing.
Engine Options Paired With A Fresh Eight-Speed Automatic
Under the bonnet, the sedan retains its two proven turbocharged petrol powertrains while updating its transmission choices. The entry-level unit is a 1.0-litre TSI motor generating 115 PS of power and 178 Nm of torque, available with a standard six-speed manual or a newly introduced eight-speed automatic gearbox. Drivers seeking greater performance can opt for the 1.5-litre TSI powerplant, which delivers 150 PS and 250 Nm of torque through a seven-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission. Estimated fuel economy for the vehicle hovers in the range of 18 to 20 km/l. The revised model continues its rivalry in the mid-size passenger car market against the Honda City, Hyundai Verna, and Volkswagen Virtus.
