A Patna district court has delivered a significant verdict in the ongoing coaching center firing controversy, granting bail to Faisal Khan, widely recognized as Khan Sir. Alongside him, the two bodyguards involved in the case have also been granted bail. Previously, the court had reserved its decision after completing the hearings. While the ruling was initially scheduled to be delivered on Friday, it was postponed to Monday due to the presiding district judge being on leave. On Monday, the court formally granted the requested relief to all parties involved.
The Conflict Between Coaching Centers
The core of this dispute lies in the intense rivalry between two major coaching institutions located in the Musallahpur Hat area. One institution is Khan Global Studies (KGS), led by Faisal Khan, while the other is Gyan Bindu GS Academy, directed by Roshan Anand. The friction between these two entities has been ongoing for a considerable period. The situation escalated dramatically on the night of June 2, when a massive disturbance broke out at the Khan Global Studies center.
Allegations and Legal Proceedings
Following the incident, Faisal Khan alleged that supporters of Roshan Anand had attacked his center. According to the claims, the attackers engaged in vandalism, stone-pelting, and opened fire at the premises. In the immediate aftermath, police took Roshan Anand into custody. However, the trajectory of the investigation shifted significantly once a video clip surfaced.
Based on the findings from the video, police asserted that the bodyguards employed by Khan Sir had also fired shots. Consequently, both bodyguards were arrested, and an FIR was filed against Faisal Khan as well. To avoid immediate arrest, Faisal Khan had filed an anticipatory bail plea in court. During the earlier proceedings, the court had already issued an order directing that no coercive or punitive actions be taken against him.
Current Status of the Case
It is noteworthy that Roshan Anand had already secured bail in this matter previously. Additionally, the case has been complicated by the controversial and suspicious death of Roshan Anand's brother, Prince Yadav, in Nepal. During that period, Roshan Anand had leveled serious accusations against Faisal Khan. As of now, the legal proceedings regarding the firing incident and the underlying disputes continue to be heard in court.
