TrendKia reported that Sunita had been struggling with marital issues since her wedding.
A History of Marital Discord and Dowry Demands
According to the victim's family members, Sunita was married to Subhash Choudhary in the year 2016. However, peace remained elusive in her married life. Her family members alleged that right from the beginning of the marriage, conflicts regarding dowry demands were a regular occurrence. Sunita's relatives stated that her in-laws frequently placed demands for various items, putting constant pressure on her.
The Alleged Affair and Escalating Violence
The situation deteriorated further when Sunita reportedly uncovered a shocking secret. She found out that her husband, Subhash, was allegedly involved in an illicit relationship with his own sister-in-law. When Sunita began confronting him and objecting to this relationship, it angered Subhash. Consequently, she was subjected to frequent physical abuse and torture. Despite the continuous domestic violence, Sunita endured the suffering in an attempt to save her marriage and family.
Mysterious Death Following an Exam
The victim's brother, Sonu Kumar, shared the timeline of events leading up to the tragedy. He mentioned that Sunita had recently traveled out of town to appear for an examination. Upon completing her exam, she returned to her in-laws' home. However, the very next day, Sunita's family received an urgent phone call informing them that her condition was extremely critical. Rushing to her home, the family was shocked to find Sunita's lifeless body lying inside the house.
Police Intervention and Arrests
Accusing her husband of beating her to death, Sunita's family has filed a complaint. Apart from Subhash Choudhary, the family has also named his sister-in-law and his sister as accused in the murder, demanding an unbiased investigation into the roles played by all three individuals. Upon receiving information about the incident, the local police arrived at the scene, took custody of the body, and sent it to the Nawada Sadar Hospital for a postmortem. The police have arrested the accused husband, Subhash Choudhary. The Akbarpur police are currently conducting a detailed investigation, stating that further actions will be determined based on the postmortem report and findings.
