However, following a slight decrease in the water level of the Punpun River on Thursday, authorities and workers have finally begun the arduous process of extracting the submerged tractors from the inundated storage facilities.
The entire landscape of Didarganj currently presents a dismal picture of waterlogging as floodwaters continue to surround properties from all directions. The sudden surge in river levels has also caused water to spill over into nearby residential villages, forcing floodwaters directly into people's homes.
