The controversy surrounding the recently released music video of 'Jugni', featuring actress Jacqueline Fernandez, has escalated into a legal matter. Following widespread online discussion regarding an alleged scene in the video, co-singer Sonu Thukral has approached the cyber cell of the police to file a formal complaint. Thukral maintains that the offending video snippets being shared across digital platforms were manipulated using artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
Origins of the Online Row and Response from Creators
The official music video for 'Jugni' was premiered on July 15. Shortly after its launch, several viewers on social media alleged that a specific segment contained a wardrobe malfunction. Short clips highlighting the moment quickly began circulating across various social channels, triggering substantial online criticism and trolling directed at the project.
Social media users raised concerns over why the scene was allowed to remain in the final edit of the video. As public reactions intensified, the production team took corrective measures by blurring the segment and subsequently removing it from the track. Despite these modifications, edited clips of the original sequence continued to float around online spaces.

Sharing a short video recorded outside a police station's cyber cell unit, he confirmed that a police complaint had been officially lodged concerning the distribution of the modified content related to 'Jugni'.
Thukral asserted that the footage gaining traction online had been edited using AI tools to create a misleading version of the clip. He informed his followers that he would be making a detailed public statement regarding the matter in the near future.
