Katrina Kaif is counted among Hindi cinema's most successful leading actresses today, but the real story behind her rise is far more interesting than the glamour suggests. A Childhood That Never Stayed in One Place

Media reports state that Kay Beauty recorded gross sales of Rs 240 crore in financial year 2025. Consumer trust in e-commerce strengthened further after the pandemic, and the brand benefited directly from that shift. In financial year 2026, gross sales rose to Rs 350 crore, marking a 46 percent annual growth. During this same period, the brand also began its global expansion through leading UK retailer Space NK.
Equally Active in Social Work
Away from the noise of business and acting success, Katrina remains actively involved with the NGO 'Relief Projects India', founded by her mother, and the 'Claretian Mercy Home' in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. This initiative works to spread awareness against serious social crimes like female foeticide, while also providing free English-medium education and healthcare facilities to rural and underprivileged girls through the 'Mountain View School'.
A Personal Pause With Vicky Kaushal
After spending a large part of her life in constant travel and instability, Katrina found a deep personal and emotional pause when she married actor Vicky Kaushal on December 9, 2021. Her focus today largely centres on raising her son, Vihaan Kaushal, and spending quality time with husband Vicky Kaushal. Katrina was last seen on screen in the film 'Merry Christmas', released in January 2024, alongside Vijay Sethupathi.
