Indian Railways has announced an important decision to accommodate the surge of passengers during the upcoming festive season. The railway administration has decided to extend the operation of two pairs of special trains to manage the massive crowds efficiently. These special services will continue running according to their existing routes, timetables, and stoppages, bringing immense relief to travelers passing through the Jasidih station.
Schedule For Mau And Kolkata Special Trains
The frequency of special trains operating between Mau and Kolkata has been extended. Train number 05096 Mau-Kolkata Special will run from October 7, 2026, to November 25, 2026. This train will depart from Mau every Wednesday, completing a total of 8 trips during this operational window to facilitate smooth travel between Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.
On the return journey, train number 05095 Kolkata-Mau Special will operate from October 8, 2026, to November 26, 2026. This service will depart from Kolkata every Thursday, successfully completing its scheduled run of 8 trips to assist passengers returning to their destinations.
Extended Operations For Dibrugarh And Kolkata Services
To ease connectivity between the Northeast and West Bengal, the trips for the Dibrugarh-Kolkata special services have also been increased. Train number 05932 Dibrugarh-Kolkata Special will operate from September 5, 2026, to November 28, 2026. This train will depart from Dibrugarh every Saturday, completing a total of 13 trips along its route.
Conversely, the return service bearing train number 05931 Kolkata-Dibrugarh Special will run between September 7, 2026, and November 30, 2026. This weekly train will depart from Kolkata every Monday, fulfilling its total count of 13 trips. The passage of these trains via Jasidih will significantly benefit commuters traveling across Jharkhand, Bihar, and West Bengal.
