Across the city, vibrant ceremonial pandals are being erected in prominent neighborhoods, driving a notable surge in demand for elaborate Durga idols. Delicate Craftsmanship and Facial Details Demand Days of Focus
Shaping clay into sacred forms requires an extraordinary blend of patience, skill, and strenuous physical effort. From building the internal straw-and-bamboo framework to applying final coats of polish and embellishments, artisans invest long hours into every stage of creation. Preparing an individual idol typically takes around 5 to 6 days from start to finish. The painting stage demands the greatest precision, particularly when detailing the goddess's eyes, where every brushstroke defines the final expression and spiritual grace of the murti.
