To prevent domestic disputes from turning into horrific crimes, IG Deepak Kumar Jha appealed to local residents and community organizations to utilize institutional help. He recommended that couples experiencing persistent doubts or discord visit the Mahila Thana for structured family counseling to defuse tension before it escalates into illegal violence.
Interventions at Family Counseling Centers
The extent of marital discord in the region is further evidenced by records from the Mahila Cell and Family Counseling Centers across the Sarguja range.
