When the designated online registration window for concession categories went live at 12 noon on Tuesday, supporters flooded the portal immediately, exhausting the entire allocated quota in just sixty seconds from the moment access opened.
High Application Inflow and Concession Ticket Pricing
The overwhelming rush to secure seats at Holkar Stadium was clearly reflected in registration numbers that significantly exceeded the available allotment. For the student category, which featured 1000 reserved tickets, a total of 1200 applications poured in. Meanwhile, the specially abled bracket saw 55 registrations compete for the 40 allocated spaces.
Under the concessional tariff structure, student tickets are priced at 950 rupees and 1200 rupees, while tickets for specially abled attendees have been capped at 400 rupees. Although registration for these two segments was originally slated across September 22 and September 23, intense demand filled both allocations within the first minute of going live. MPCA officials will now verify the submitted documents before distributing direct purchase links exclusively to verified, eligible applicants.
Public Ticket Rollout and Match Day Preparations
With concession booking wrapped up, attention now turns to general spectators eagerly waiting to purchase their entry passes. General category ticket sales are scheduled to commence at 6 am on September 25. Holkar Stadium will host the international clash on October 11, with both national squads scheduled to arrive in Indore one day prior to match day.
Tour Schedule: Three One-Day Internationals and Five T20s
The visiting West Indies contingent is competing in a multi-format tour of India comprising three one-day internationals alongside five T20 fixtures. The 50-over matches are scheduled for September 27, September 30, and October 3. Following the ODI leg, the five-match T20 series will take place on October 6, 9, 11, 14, and 16, with the pivotal October 11 fixture lighting up Indore.
