A brutal crime has surfaced from Gurugram, adjacent to Delhi, where a man allegedly beat his live-in partner to death following a heated domestic dispute. The incident took place in Dharam Colony, leading to the immediate arrest of the suspect by the local police. The couple had been sharing a residence since 2020 before the conflict turned fatal.
Violent Assault Followed Verbal Altercation
According to investigators, a dispute erupted between the partners on Tuesday over an unspecified matter inside their rented residence. The argument escalated rapidly into physical violence as the suspect lost control and reached for household objects.
The man allegedly subjected the woman to repeated strikes using a blunt wooden stick, a hard pipe, and a kitchen rolling pin. Sustaining severe blunt force trauma across her body and head, the victim collapsed and died on the spot due to catastrophic injuries and trauma before medical assistance could intervene.
Six-Year Relationship Ends in Tragedy
Police inquiries revealed that the accused and the deceased had been cohabiting in a live-in relationship since 2020. Despite living together for nearly six years, recurring arguments culminated in the lethal confrontation earlier this week.
Upon being alerted to the crime, a police team arrived at the scene, secured the area, and sent the body for an autopsy. Law enforcement officials have taken the accused into custody on murder charges and seized the weapons used in the assault as part of the ongoing probe.
