During the operation, authorities confiscated a mobile phone and a tablet from the possession of the accused, which are currently being scrutinized. Fabricated Order Transmitted Through WhatsApp
The elaborate scheme unraveled when the Chief Medical and Health Officer (CMHO), Dr. Rajesh Atulkar, formally lodged a police complaint regarding the suspicious communication. Superintendent of Police Raghuvansh Kumar Singh detailed that on July 21, an unknown sender transmitted a fabricated document routed in the Chief Minister's name directly to the CMHO's mobile number via WhatsApp. The digital dispatch was meticulously crafted to mimic genuine government correspondence, aiming to bypass standard bureaucratic channels and sow confusion within local health administration.
Misuse of Official Insignia and Photographs
According to police findings, the fraudulent missive was formally addressed to the Chief Medical and Health Officer's office. To lend an aura of authenticity, the perpetrators brazenly utilized a counterfeit letterhead bearing the Chief Minister's insignia along with his official photograph. The text within the document falsely claimed an application or directive for transferring Dr. Nirmala Nigwal, an Ayush medical officer posted within Alirajpur district, from the Udaygarh Community Health Center to the Sondwa Community Health Center.
Suspect Apprehended in Sehore With Electronic Gadgets
As the investigation gathered momentum, police units tracked digital footprints leading to the arrest of 33-year-old Mukesh Bhosle, a resident of Sehore district. Alongside his apprehension, officers recovered a mobile phone and a tablet from him. Investigators are currently decoding the devices to establish his exact mechanism for fabricating the document, determining whether he acted as a lone operative or served as a pawn in a larger, organized racket specializing in fraudulent bureaucratic transfers.
Financial Trail Leads to Vehicle Driver's UPI Account
The inquiry took a revealing turn when Police Inspector Sonu Sitole disclosed a suspicious financial trail uncovered during the probe. Investigators discovered that Naval Singh, who serves as the vehicle driver for the Ayush medical officer, had transferred a sum of 15,000 rupees to the arrested accused, Mukesh Bhosle, via UPI digital payments. This monetary exchange has raised red flags, suggesting a potential quid pro quo arrangement behind the fake transfer paperwork.

Given the monetary transaction linking the driver to the primary suspect, law enforcement has integrated this financial nexus directly into the core investigation.
