A gruesome domestic violence incident shook the Lokpriya Vihar area of Ghaziabad late on Saturday night after a resident allegedly attacked his family, leaving his wife and teenage daughter dead while a second daughter sustained critical injuries. The tragedy occurred on the fourth floor of a rented accommodation in Street Number 3 under the jurisdiction of the Khoda police station around 12:15 AM on August 22, 2026. The unexpected outbreak of violence in the quiet midnight hours triggered panic among residents across the neighborhood.
Tragedy Unfolds in Rented Apartment
According to details made available by local law enforcement, the family originally hailed from Araria district in Bihar and was staying as tenants in Ghaziabad. The suspect, identified as Raja Ansari, lived with his 38-year-old wife Bibi Tabassum and their two young daughters, 15-year-old Sana Tabassum and 14-year-old Ruby Tabassum. On the night of the incident, severe domestic arguments broke out inside the flat, which quickly escalated into a deadly assault. Around midnight, screams and cries for help began echoing from the fourth-floor room, alarming neighbors who immediately suspected something catastrophic had taken place and alerted emergency services.
Police Response and Critical Medical Care
Upon receiving the frantic call, heavy police forces along with senior officials from the Khoda police station rushed directly to the location. Entering the fourth-floor room, officers discovered a horrific scene: Bibi Tabassum and 15-year-old Sana Tabassum were lying motionless in pools of blood, having succumbed to fatal injuries on the spot. Nearby, 14-year-old Ruby Tabassum was found struggling for life with severe wounds. Police personnel acted swiftly to transport the injured teenager to District MMG Hospital for urgent medical treatment. Attending doctors at the medical facility confirmed that timely intervention saved the young girl's life, and her condition has since been stabilized and declared out of danger.
