The inspection team raided Rinku's sweet factory, which was being run without a valid food license amid extremely unhygienic conditions. To safeguard public health, officials immediately destroyed 2 quintals (200 kg) of adulterated and spoiled sweets that were deemed completely unfit for human consumption. According to department officials, the estimated monetary value of the destroyed sweets stands at around Rs 20,000.

Seizure of Refined Oil and Sample Collections

During the raid, enforcement officers also seized 180 liters of refined soybean oil due to suspicions surrounding its quality and safety standards. The seized cooking oil is valued at approximately Rs 40,860. Food safety officials revealed that the sudden inspection was executed following specific intelligence inputs regarding illegal sweet manufacturing activities taking place at the premises.
