A shocking incident has unfolded in the Raini subdivision of Rajasthan's Alwar district, where a man took drastic action outside a community health center in Garhishawiram. The individual brought his ailing wife to the government facility for medical care, but an altercation allegedly broke out with a doctor on duty, leading to serious accusations of physical abuse and public humiliation.
Dispute Erupts Inside the Hospital
The aggrieved visitor, identified as Ummedilal alias Pujari from Chundala village, had visited the Garhishawiram government hospital because his wife was unwell. According to the accounts, a disagreement arose between Ummedilal and a medical practitioner during the treatment procedure inside the ward. The patient's husband claimed that the doctor lost his temper and slapped him in front of everyone, leaving him deeply distressed and humiliated by the public insult.
Climbing the Tree With a Noose
Overwhelmed by anger and severe emotional distress following the alleged assault, Ummedilal walked outside and climbed a large peepal tree near the hospital premises. He secured a rope around a sturdy branch and sat on the tree with the noose around his neck. The sight of a man threatening to end his life triggered immediate panic and commotion across the hospital grounds, with bystanders frantically pleading with him to come down while he demanded strict action against the doctor.
Police and Administration Rush to the Scene
Recognizing the urgency of the situation, local residents quickly alerted the Raini police station and administrative authorities. A police team alongside senior officials arrived at the location with adequate force. Taking precautionary steps, security personnel set up safety measures beneath the tree and began engaging in dialogue with the distressed man, using loudspeakers and persuasive appeals to calm him down and convince him to descend safely.
Public Outrage and Local Tension
The episode has drawn a massive crowd to the Garhishawiram community health center premises, fueling intense anger among local villagers regarding the alleged behavior of the medical staff. Residents asserted that such mistreatment of patients and their families is completely unacceptable. Administrative officers remained engaged in pacifying the man and assuring him of justice to prevent any tragic outcome.
