A shocking incident has come to light from Kilokri village under the Sunlight Colony police station area in Delhi, where a 54-year-old retired musician was beaten to death simply because he objected to noise being made outside his house. A group of people attacked him and thrashed him with kicks and punches so badly that he lost his life.
Went down to protest the noise outside his home
The victim was identified as Vikram Singh, who was originally from Manipur. On the day of the incident, delivery boys and nearby dhaba workers were creating a ruckus right outside his home. Troubled by the noise, Vikram Singh went down and asked them to stop. The accused took offence at his objection, and the argument quickly turned physical. They surrounded Vikram Singh and beat him mercilessly with kicks and punches, leaving him with severe internal injuries.
Son rushed him to hospital, he died during treatment
In a critical condition, Vikram Singh was rushed by his son Yaifaba to the nearby Holy Family Hospital. Doctors began treatment immediately, but his injuries were so severe that he succumbed to them during treatment. A father who was healthy just a short while earlier died only because he had objected to noise outside his home, leaving the family in deep shock.
Case handed to ASI Virendra Singh
On September 7, a PCR call was received at Sunlight Colony police station under GD number 10A. The call was about an assault on 54-year-old Vikram Singh, a resident of Kilokri village. The case was handed over to ASI Virendra Singh of the police station for necessary action. Initial investigation revealed that the deceased was a retired musician who had objected to the noise being made by delivery boys and dhaba workers outside his home, which led to the assault.
Murder case registered, all accused including a minor arrested
Police have registered an FIR under murder sections in the case. During the investigation, police identified and arrested all the accused, including a minor.
