Following the incident, Cyberabad Police initiated legal proceedings on Sunday, registering a criminal case against both the university management and the event organizers responsible for arranging the program.

To secure an unobstructed view of the stage and the actor, a group of attendees climbed onto the elevated heavy sound box system structure. According to initial findings, some individuals among the group reportedly attempted to perform dangerous maneuvers while perched atop the stand. Overwhelmed by the excess weight and instability, the heavy sound equipment tower crashed to the ground, trapping nearby individuals under the metal framework.
