The core meaning translates to: With that very sacred protective thread that bound the immensely powerful demon king Bali, I tie you now. Auspicious Timings for Tying Rakhi
On the day of Raksha Bandhan, families will have three distinct auspicious windows available for tying the thread. The initial favorable muhurta will span from 5:45 AM to 9:45 AM in the morning. Following that, the afternoon muhurta will remain open from 1:40 PM until 4:15 PM. Additionally, an evening auspicious window will also be available from 6:29 PM to 9:12 PM for the ceremonies.
Proper Ritual and Way to Tie Rakhi
