At the ET Hospitality World Restaurant and Nightlife Awards hosted at the Hyatt Regency in New Delhi, ODIIN Experiences earned the coveted title of Nightclub of the Year 2026 for Eastern India. Surpassing veteran nightlife establishments across the eastern belt, the achievement underscores the rapid expansion of premier dining and premium entertainment throughout the North-East.
Grand Debut and Creative Norse Inspiration
The establishment launched its journey during an opening gathering attended by Shibani Akhtar, accompanied by a live stage performance from the Sufi music group Swaraag. The inaugural night drew an audience of more than 600 attendees, generating enough traffic to halt movement on the surrounding primary thoroughfare. Notably, the architectural concept avoided external design consultants entirely; the founding crew developed the entire interior aesthetic in-house. Drawing imaginative cues from Norse folklore and the television drama Vikings, the leadership embedded this historical theme into the venue layout, customer interactions, and beverage concepts.
Three Levels Spanning 20,000 Square Feet
Occupying a vast footprint of 20,000 square feet divided across three tiers, the property accommodates varied hospitality preferences. Guests seeking private gatherings can utilize The Boutique Chambers, a section containing ten private rooms. For large-scale live performances and dance sessions, the venue operates The Great Hall. Outdoors, the Skol Rooftop delivers al fresco dining alongside an integrated pickleball court, while patrons looking for quieter drinking quarters can retreat to ORO Privé, an exclusive speakeasy-inspired lounge.
Pioneering Production Systems and Beverage Craft
The infrastructure highlights substantial investments in cutting-edge sensory equipment. Management imported high-performance acoustic setups from Outline in Italy, while simultaneously becoming the inaugural club in India to deploy automated intelligent illumination from Kinetics and Hibec. This attention to detail extends into its cocktail craft. During a public industry panel, National Award-winning actor Vikrant Massey observed that he had not encountered any comparable experiential destination providing such distinct mixology anywhere across the country.
Expanding Frontiers in Regional Hospitality
Reflecting on the honor, Shivani Singh, who serves as Chief People and Community Officer for ODIIN Experiences, noted that the crew trusted their intuition to bring world-class offerings to Guwahati. Singh pointed out that the recognition is just an initial step as the territory experiences a surge in live concerts, demographic influx, commercial spending, and high-end tourism. The founding group previously established PIAZZA in 2016, an acclaimed culinary institution in Guwahati that earned numerous industry awards, and continues working to redefine experiential recreation across India.
