Furthermore, the Chief Minister met with the volunteers serving at Akshardham, commending their discipline, humility, hospitality, and selfless service, stating that their contributions will inspire generations to come.
Vibrant Gujarat Context and Cultural Significance
The Chief Minister's visit is centered around the theme of Vibrant Gujarat, marking the first time in nearly 30 years that a Chief Minister of Gujarat has undertaken an official trip to the United States. Reflecting on his experience, he noted that just as Gujarat is vibrant, Indian culture is equally vibrant here at Akshardham, which serves as a celebration of culture, art, spirituality, and eternal values alongside being a place of worship. The visit drew delegates and community leaders from across America, highlighting BAPS's ongoing role in preserving and propagating India's spiritual heritage globally through temples, education, relief work, and youth development.
