According to preliminary details surrounding the incident, the accident took place within a bus repair facility located between the Suryanagar-Tarsali bypass and Dhanyavi Road in Vadodara. The premises are situated near the SR Energy and SR Biogas company complex. Divyesh's neck became trapped in the automatic door of a private luxury bus that was parked inside the yard. When the child failed to return home after a considerable amount of time, his anxious family began searching the area. During their search, a bystander informed them that an accident involving the boy had occurred near the parked vehicles.
Class 2 Student at APJ Abdul Kalam School
Divyesh was a Class 2 student enrolled at the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Primary School located in Tarsali-2. His father, RakeshBhai Rathwa, works at the nearby SR Biogas company near Suryanagar. On the day of the incident, Divyesh had returned home from school normally before heading out to fetch prasad. News of the tragic death of the young child, cited as 7 to 8 years old in reports, has deeply saddened his classmates, teachers, and neighbors alike.
Kapurai Police Investigation and Missing CCTV Footage
Following the incident, the Kapurai police registered a case and initiated a formal probe into the circumstances leading to the child's death.
