A shocking crime has shaken Faridabad where a married woman allegedly conspired with her lover to brutally kill her husband. The victim suffered multiple deep knife wounds on his neck, indicating extreme violence during the assault. Law enforcement authorities have acted swiftly to arrest both the wife and her alleged partner in connection with the homicide.
Background of the Victim
The victim, Gopal, originally hailed from Kumarpur village located in the Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh. He had been living in Faridabad for approximately 15 years and worked as a machine operator at a factory situated in the DLF Industrial Area, earning a livelihood through daily labor.
Sequence of Events Leading to the Murder
According to police records, Gopal's wife Kajal arrived in Faridabad from her village on October 13, accompanied by two of their three children. Upon arrival, she stayed at a relative's house located in Shyam Colony. The following day, Gopal visited the same residence to meet his family.
The grim reality of the situation came to light on Thursday morning when the couple's daughter made a phone call to Gopal's brother, Bhura, informing him that their father was unwell. When Bhura rushed to the location, he discovered his elder brother lifeless and immediately alerted the authorities.
Police Investigation and Arrests
Acting on a formal complaint filed by Bhura, the Palla police station registered a case under Section 103 of the BNS for murder. During the subsequent investigation, officers uncovered ongoing domestic friction between Gopal and Kajal, which stemmed from Kajal's alleged romantic involvement with 37-year-old Yogendra from her native village. Investigators concluded that the duo planned the gruesome attack to eliminate Gopal, and the wife continuously stabbed him until he succumbed to his injuries. Both suspects are now in police custody.
