A spine-chilling incident has surfaced in the Thakurdwara region of Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad district, leaving local residents in utter shock. On October 13, the lifeless body of 40-year-old disabled man Pramod Kumar was recovered from Faridnagar village under mysterious and violent circumstances. Cracking this high-profile murder case, local law enforcement authorities have successfully apprehended the deceased man's wife along with her lover and a minor participant. According to police officials, the brutal killing was meticulously planned and executed by members of the victim's own household.
Wife Under Early Suspicion After Three Days of Investigation
From the very first day of the investigation, local authorities grew suspicious of the victim's wife, Sunita alias Pooja. However, gathering concrete forensic evidence and unraveling the intricate web of deceit took investigators three full days of rigorous groundwork. Throughout this period, the accused woman kept pretending to be completely innocent and grief-stricken. Despite her attempts to mislead the authorities, constant surveillance and technical evidence eventually pointed directly toward her active involvement in the conspiracy.
Illicit Affairs and Motives Involving Property Control
Deepening the scope of the inquiry, police uncovered disturbing details regarding the underlying motives behind the murder. Investigators stated that Sunita and her lover Abrar shared a strong intent to forcefully take over Pramod Kumar's property. Furthermore, police records revealed that Sunita's first husband was Jagannath, and she maintained a complex dual life by spending the daytime with Pramod while visiting Jagannath at night. In her defense during questioning, Sunita claimed she was distressed over alleged misconduct involving her 11-year-old daughter. All these competing allegations are currently forming the core of the ongoing police investigation.
Recovery of the Weapon and Stolen Mobile Phone
The perpetrators utilized a sharp-edged weapon to carry out the deadly assault on the disabled victim. Acting on specific leads provided by the detained suspects during interrogation, police successfully recovered the blood-stained sharp weapon used in the crime as well as Pramod Kumar's missing mobile phone. Following the formal arrests of Sunita alias Pooja and Abrar, their minor son has also been taken into police custody. Authorities are continuing their legal proceedings to ensure all individuals involved face appropriate judicial consequences.
