According to police, he was reaching out to students and their parents through social media, claiming to supply the actual exam paper. While the cyber team was monitoring internet media activity, his actions were flagged as suspicious and he was taken into custody. A search of his mobile phone revealed a PDF document containing NEET-UG 2026 questions. Initial investigation established that this paper had been generated using ChatGPT and was being sold to students as the genuine question paper.
