A shocking development has emerged in an alleged gang rape case registered in Bhiwandi, Maharashtra, where the mother of the accused dismissed police officer Shailesh Patil has turned against her own son. Addressing journalists in Kalyan, Sulochana Patil leveled severe accusations against Shailesh and demanded the strictest possible punishment, including hanging, for his actions. She claimed that her son has ruined the lives of multiple young women and stated that she herself has been enduring his atrocities and torture for years.
Details Of The Bhiwandi Case
According to the complaint registered at the Padgha police station in Bhiwandi, a 22-year-old woman residing in Kalyan alleged that she was taken to a farm house, forcefully given alcohol, and subjected to rape. A case has been registered against several individuals, including former Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Narendra Pawar and Shailesh Patil. Reports indicate that both accused individuals have been absconding. However, authorities noted that the verification of the allegations made in this case will only be possible after the police investigation reaches its conclusion.
Transformation After Prison Release
Sulochana Patil shared that Shailesh was not always like this, recalling that he had joined the police department and was performing his duties properly. According to her claims, in an alleged attempt to shield an IPS officer, Shailesh took the blame for a crime upon himself and was sent to jail. After returning from prison, he fell into bad company, shifting his focus entirely toward criminal activities and making money through illegal means.
Accusations Of Property Grabbing And Assault
Sulochana Patil further alleged that Shailesh began forcibly seizing his parents' land and property. She claimed that on one occasion inside their home, Shailesh attacked her back with a heavy object and even pointed a revolver at her during a dispute over property. She also alleged that several of their properties were sold off and lakhs of rupees were allegedly withdrawn from bank accounts using forged signatures. Sulochana stated that despite owning property, she is currently forced to live at her daughter's house and is wandering from door to door seeking justice.
Allegations Regarding Other Victims
Sulochana Patil claimed that her son did not target only the victim in the current case, but has allegedly behaved in a similar manner with several other girls in the past. She expressed profound distress over her son's alleged actions, which is why she wants him to face the strictest punishment available. Nevertheless, independent verification of the various allegations raised by Shailesh Patil's mother regarding property disputes, bank transactions, physical assault, and other charges has not yet been established, requiring thorough police investigation and scrutiny of relevant documents.
