How to Claim a Dhanalekshmi DL 58 Prize

Winners can collect their money from Kerala lottery shops, from banks, or from the state government's lottery department. The claiming process, however, depends on how much you have won.

If your prize is below Rs 5,000, you can claim it at any Kerala lottery shop. But if the amount is above Rs 5,000, the process calls for a few extra steps.

Prizes above Rs 5,000 are paid only after the winning ticket is submitted at designated banks or the state department, along with a set of required documents. These are:

  1. A claim application together with a self-attested photostat copy of both sides of the ticket.
  2. Two passport-size photographs of the prize winner, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer or Notary.
  3. A receipt for the prize money in the prescribed form, with a Rs 1 revenue stamp affixed and the winner's full address.
  4. If the winner is a minor, a guardianship certificate from a competent authority.
  5. In the case of joint claims, one of the winners must be authorised to receive the money, and a Joint Declaration must be executed on stamp paper worth Rs 50.
  6. Self-attested copies of the PAN Card.
  7. An attested document proving identity (an attested copy of a Ration Card, Driving License, Passport, Election ID Card, etc.).

A winner must surrender the prize-winning ticket within 90 days of the draw, along with all the necessary documents.

What this means for you

  • In Kerala: Anyone holding a Dhanalekshmi DL 58 ticket should check the numbers above, as the first prize is Rs 1 crore and the second is Rs 30 lakh.
  • Across India: Prizes up to Rs 5,000 can be collected in cash from any lottery shop, but larger amounts require submitting the ticket along with documents like your PAN Card at a designated bank or the state department.
  • For every winner: The window to claim is limited, the ticket must be surrendered within 90 days of the draw date.
