The system's direct impact will trigger a wave of heavy to very heavy rainfall across Odisha and surrounding territories. Weather officials have indicated that over the next 2 to 3 days, specific locations spanning Odisha and Chhattisgarh are likely to witness severe downpours.

The reach of this active weather system extends further inland, maintaining wet conditions across eastern Madhya Pradesh and eastern Uttar Pradesh.
